To those out there who installed the shims on the JD 790's did the dealership say anything about the effect this would have on the warranty. I sp/w JD corp today and was told that if you put a JD part on the tractor that it shouldn't void the warranty. I still have 1 year left on warranty and don't want to void it.
Was also told that if you have the dealership do the servicing and they differ from the "suggested" intervals, fluid in the book that it doesn't effect warranty either as they may know what works better in particular area and local dealership has the say so to do that.
